Computer Literacy Volunteers
 

Members of the Special Interest Group of Computer Literacy Volunteers at the Rancho Bernardo Library (RBLCLVSIG) provide one-on-one tutoring service for two hours one morning per month for library patrons who need help learning how to accomplish such tasks as:

*Filling out an application for a library card.

*Using the library computer to find out if a book is available in the San Diego Library System.

*Using the new self-service checkout system similar to the one in place in the County Library at 4S Ranch.

*Accessing your library account from your home computer.

*Downloading audio books from the library to the hard drive of your home computer.

*Renewing library books from your home computer.

*Using your home computer to access multimedia tutorial programs available in the library system.

*Other tasks suggested by members of the SIG, library patrons, library staff, and others  interested in computer literacy for older adults.
